WYSIWYG Orange Rhodactis Mushroom

Rhodactis mushrooms are a variety of furry Corallimorphs found all throughout the Indo-Pacific. They go by all sorts of common names ranging from Tonga Mushrooms and Hairy Mushrooms to Elephant Ear Mushrooms. This Genus has a great deal of diversity. Some Rhodactis remain small while others like the Elephant Ear can grow over 12″ in diameter. They come in a wide variety of colors and textures. Some even host clownfish.

Rhodactis mushrooms are a hardy addition to any reef aquarium and are easy to take care of. They have modest light and flow requirements and can be fed although most reef hobbyists do not go out of their way to spot feed Rhodactis mushrooms. We are always on the lookout for new and interesting types of Rhodactis mushrooms because there is a huge variety out there.
