These shallow aquariums provide a low panoramic view and require some creative aquascaping ideas, as they lack height. You can create a nice slick river stream, keeping everything underwater, or allow the hardscape to protrude and plants to grow above and below the water level, creating a pond-style layout.
This particular size is too small for fish but great for plants. We have seen some fantastic designs, from using it as a pot for carnivorous boggy plants to crazy hardscapes with aquatic plants and terrarium plants.
