Overview

The Tiger Ricordea Yuma is an extraordinary morph of Ricordea yuma, known for its wild, striped colouration resembling tiger patterns an intense blend of orange, red, green, and hints of blue radiating from the oral disc. Often classified among the “Ultra Yuma” or “Rainbow Tiger Yuma” in high-end Asian and U.S. markets, this mushroom is prized for its psychedelic contrast and thick, knobby vesicles.

More dramatic and rarer than Ricordea florida, the Yuma variety grows larger and can exhibit mesmerising colour transitions under actinic lighting.

Care & Feeding

This coral benefits from stable parameters and prefers gentle, indirect light to bring out its full spectrum of colour. Feed occasionally with powdered coral foods, reef roids, or enriched rotifers to support faster growth and maintain the vibrancy of the vesicles.

Ricordea Yuma may be more sensitive to rapid parameter shifts than Florida species gradual acclimation is key.
