Snowflake feed is a soy-husk based feed that, when submerged in the aquarium, will breakdown into ‘snowflakes’ allowing shrimp to feed on the pellets which are a natural source of fibre, vitamins and protein.

Due to the nature of the food, it encourages the growth of biofilm, which is made up of various microorganisms, bacteria and algae. This is harmless in your aquarium but offers the shrimp a host of benefits due to the amount of essential nutrients and protein needed for shrimp to be happy and healthy, snowflake food aids in growth and digestion.

Snowflake feed can be left in the aquarium without worry as it does not affect the water parameters and therefore can be used as longterm feed and a great option for if you are away on holiday.
