Pharmaceutical-Grade Magnesium Chloride Aquarium Supplement

Reef Endurance Magnesium Chloride is a pharmaceutical-based aquarium supplement that mixes crystal clear with no unwanted impurities. In reef aquaria, maintaining a proper magnesium level of 1200-1350ppm helps achieve the essential balance of calcium and alkalinity in the aquarium by preventing excess calcium carbonate precipitation. For best results, use in conjunction with Reef Endurance Magnesium Sulfate for a complete balance.

Mixing Instructions:

1gal RO/DI + 5-1/4 Cups of Magnesium Chloride + 2 Cups of Magnesium Sulfate

1. Fill a one-gallon container half full of RO/DI or distilled water
2. Add five and one-quarter cups (933g) of Magnesium Chloride and two cups (332g) of Magnesium Sulfate to the container.
3. Fill the remainder of the container with RO/DI or distilled water and secure cap.
4. Shake vigorously and allow to dissolve for 24 hours altogether.

Dosing Instructions:

2ml/gallon of Magnesium Chloride Solution will raise magnesium by approximately 25ppm. It is not recommended to increase magnesium by more than 50ppm per day.

Tip: If you are having issues raising your alkalinity levels, check and ensure your aquarium magnesium level is between 1200 and 1350ppm.
