Fimbriaphylliacristata is often confused for and sold as Euphyllia glabrescens also known as Torch Coral however these are two species with very different care requirements.

Cristata’s have much shorter tentaclesthan a Torch and can’t handle as much flow. This coral can be kept in a garden with other corals of theFimbriaphyllia genus such as Hammer, Frogspawn, and Octospawn Corals.
