This outlet adapter is intended to connect a Rocking Piston Compressor to 3/8″ Airline. One end connects to 1/4″ metal FPT (in the compressor) and the other end has a 3/8″ barb to connect to 3/8″ airline. It comes standard with a 25 psi pressure relief valve for use with the Stratus Gen 2 Rocking Piston Compressor. It is also available via special order with 10 psi for use with Rotary Vanes, or 40 psi for use with higher pressure Rocking Piston Compressors. The pressure relief valve protects the compressor from excessive backpressure if there is some sort of blockage in the airline or diffuser.
