The Highlights of the Differences Between the Models
Models ending in “A“, MPC-60A, MPC-120A, and MPC-200A only include an air filter. See pictures as they are labeled with each model.
Models ending in “C“, MPC-60C, MPC-120C, and MPC-200C include oil-filled pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, heat-resistant tube and aluminum manifold with swivel union.
Model MPC-60C is a 1/4 HP, single head and includes a 2-way valve aluminum manifold, Model MPC-120C is a 1/2 HP, double headand includes a 3-way valve aluminum manifold, Model MPC-200C is a 3/4 HP, double head andincludes a 4-way aluminum manifold
More detailed information on each model is below:
MPC-60A 1/4 HP Rocking Piston Compressor
MPC-120A 1/2 HP Rocking Piston Compressor
MPC-200A 3/4 HP Rocking Piston Compressor
MPC-60C
This is the 1/4 HP compressor and air filter (MPC-60C) combined with a 2 way heavy duty manifold.
The manifold includes an oil filled pressure gauge to reduce indicator vibration. This gives a more accurate reading of the actual psi of your system. Also attached is a pressure relief valve which opens at approximately 17 psi to prevent damage to the compressor. The gang valves are high quality brass with 3/8″ barbs connectors. A short section of heat resistant hose is included so as to reduce heat to your air hose connection. All high quality components and very nice design.
This is a stand alone unit without any cabinet which is ready to install in your new or existing aeration system. The Matala Piston Compressor with air manifold is ideal as a replacement compressor for a variety of different manufacturer systems.
