Reverse osmosis unit, creates optimal water for any aquarium. Many problems in aquariums come from the water we put directly from the drinker, they can only be solved using waterreverse osmosis. Reverse osmosis units use the principle of natural filtration. It naturally removes contaminants (e.g. silicate, nitrate) and hardness components from water. In a reverse osmosis unit, water runs through a semi-permeable membrane with a maximum pressure of 6 bars, substances (pollutants, salts, componentshardness) dissolved in water cannot pass the thin structure of the membrane mesh, this residual water is discarded as condensate and can easily be used for cleaning, watering or as maintenance water. Dupla reverse osmosis units can remove up to 95 – 98% of all contaminants in tap water.

Tip: By connecting Dupla ultrapure water filter (optional), even the smallest particles of silicates and nitrates are completely removed.
