The Blue Spot Jawfish (Opistognathus rosenblatti), is a semi-aggressive, reef safe fish. They are moderately hardy and rarely bother other fish. You should only keep one as they will fight with their own species. They require at least 2″ of sand, bits of rubble and some rock work. Jawfish personality is fun to watch and it often looks like they are watching you back. They can be shy feeders and should be offered mysis, brine, and other meaty foods. They can be housed in a 25+ gallon tank with a tight fitting lid, and reach a maximum size of roughly 4″.
