Through the growth of organisms and other processes in the aquarium, minerals are consumed and must therefore be supplemented regularly. These include, in particular, the necessary elements calcium, magnesium and strontium, as well as alkalinity for the growth of calcium carbonate skeletons in stony corals, lime red algae and other reef organisms.Tropic Marin All-For-Reefcontains all of these components in a highly concentrated form. In addition, all essential trace elements are also included: Iodine, bromine and fluorine for the growth and strengthening of skeletons in gorgonian corals, sponges and crabs; selenium for eliminating free radicals, and iron, manganese, zinc, copper, nickel, chromium, cobalt, molybdenum and vanadium for the development of important enzyme complexes.

With these components and balanced in its concentration ratio,Tropic Marin All-For-Reefcreates the best care conditions with just one solution. There are no additional compounds (e.g. sodium chloride) that alter the salinity or ion balance.

Tropic Marin All-For-Reef Powderis an ultra-concentrated mineral blend, with which an easy-to-use, highly concentrated all-round solution for supplying all key minerals and trace elements in newly established and averaged reef aquariums is available after being dissolved in reverse osmosis water.

Application & Dosage

Before starting use ofTropic Marin All-For-Reefas a supplement for your aquarium, it is recommended to adjust your systems calcium, alkalinity and magnesium to your desired values. We recommend usingTropic Marin Original Balling– Part A(calcium chloride) for the calcium,Tropic Marin Original Balling– Part B(sodium bicarbonate) for the alkalinity andTropic Marin Bio-Magnesium

Preparation of the solution from powder:

The 800 g can ofAll-For-Reef Powdermakes 5 litres of dosing solution, the 1600 g can is enough for 10 litres of dosing solution.

To prepare the liquid mineral mixture, dissolve 6 level scoops (approx. 160 g) ofTropic Marin All-For-Reef Powderin approx. 900 ml of reverse osmosis water, resulting in a total of 1 l of dosing solution.

Dosage:

Start with a daily dose of 5 ml ofTropic Marin All-For-Reefper 100 liters (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume. Increase the daily dosage weekly by 2.5 ml per 100 l (26 US-gal) aquarium volume until you reach constant alkalinity and calcium concentrations.

Once the dosage is established, and the system parameters are stable, measuring either calcium or alkalinity, on a regular basis will monitor your systems changes and needed dosage adjustments. The corresponding parameter only needs to be monitored periodically. We recommend using Calcium as the dosage regulator, as conventional test kits are more sensitive (or accurate) in measuring changes in the calcium concentration than changes of the alkalinity fromTropic Marin All-For-Reef.

Maximum Dosage:

We recommend not to exceed a daily dose of 25 ml ofTropic Marin All-For-Reefper 100 liters (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume

Note:

In some cases, calcium and alkalinity may be consumed in different ratios than from the corals needs alone. If this occurs, and parameters become unbalanced, use the chart to make the proper corrections.
