Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown is a stunning variation of the popular Cryptocoryne Wendtii, the ‘Brown’ form is known for its attractive, rich brown to reddish-brown leaves that develop a striking, earthy hue. Native to Sri Lanka, this plant features wide, slightly undulating leaves with a unique colouration that intensifies under different lighting conditions. The stems are typically pale, often showing a light brown colour.

How to use Cryptcoryne wendtii brown

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown grows in a compact and bushy manner, reaching a height of around 10-20 cm, making it suitable for both midground and foreground placement in aquariums. It thrives in low to moderate light, although it will show its best colours under brighter conditions.

Plant Maintenance

As with other Cryptocorynes, it grows slowly and does not propagate rapidly via runners, making it a manageable addition to aquariums of various sizes. Leaves can simply be pinched off at the base of the plant.

Emersed Growth
