Galaxy shrimp are available mainly in striking shades of black or red. Their quality is assessed based on their intricate patterns, with a special emphasis on the cheek spots ‘Galaxy’. Specimens with a higher number of these spots are deemed particularly desirable among shrimp keepers. Additionally, they exhibit a distinctive ‘fishbone’ pattern, characterized by unique stripes along their backs that closely resemble the delicate bones of a fish, adding to their visual appeal.

• Nitrate -less than 20ppm
• KH– 0-2
