Proserpinaca palustris is a slightly more demanding aquarium plant, for the best results we recommend using a nutrient rich soil with medium-high lighting and Co2 injection. In the correct conditions it can turn a beautiful copper/red colour reaching 10-30cm tall. From our own experience at Horizon aquatics this plant does best with plenty of space not being overshadowed by other aquarium plants. The plant can be found on Isla de la Juventud near Cuba.
