The Ritteri Anemone, also known as the Magnificent Anemone, can grow to 36″ or more across in the wild. In most reef aquariums it tops out at around 18″ in diameter. These anemones are more delicate than many of the other species and should only be considered by advanced aquarists.
Ritteri Anemones require bright lighting and strong but intermittent water movement. Many Clownfish species will host in them. The anemone’s sting is capable of killing neighboring corals. Please allow space for it to move around. They will anchor their foot on rocks.
