Captive Bred Black Snowflake Ocellaris

The Black Snowflake (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a new strain of clownfish first developed at ORA. It was created by crossing ourBlack Ice Snowflakesback to our line ofBlack Ocellarisover multiple generations. The result was a spectacular new variety ofBlack Ocellaristhat has unique patterning in each fish. It should be noted that, like ourBlack Ocellaris, these fish spend their first year of life gradually darkening to their final black coloration and some individuals ultimately retain traces of orange on their faces.

Black Snowflakes come in a wide array of patterns with varying degrees of white. Premium Black Snowflakes will have more extreme patterns.
