The correct temperature of the aquariums is absolutely essential for the good living conditions of the animals. Most aquarium inhabitants feel comfortable at a temperature between 24 – 26C.

This temperature should be maintained as accurately as possible.

Conversely, temperatures above 30C and high temperature fluctuations often cause problems for many plants and animals and can weaken and damage them. Lighting, pumps, room temperature and solar radiation raise the temperature in the aquarium which can rise beyond healthy levels.

With the help of an aquarium cooler (i.e. Aqua Cooler V2 or V4) it is possible to reduce high temperatures to healthy levels. The temperature in the aquarium is reduced by evaporation.
